My Cheeky Boy

This week this cheeky monkey turned 6 months!  Where has the time gone!?!

Entering this world on the 13th November, 2015 at a healthy 8lb 9oz, Lewis Peter has brought much love and joy to our family.

His big sister welcomed him with open arms and now starts every day with "Morning Mum, where's Lewis?"

Although some days were a little unorthodox for this little newborn, he has easily adapted to our lifestyle.

It was a thrilling day when at six weeks he greeted us with his first smile.  Every day since we have been blessed with this cheeky grin.

Not every day is peaches and cream, though...

...he does seem to find the funny side of life.

Now our little newborn has become this cheeky little monkey, who is bound for mischief.  The last six months has been challenging but wonderful.

Happy six months little boy, we love you more than words can say...

In The Last Few Weeks...

...we had 'Mickey' home for a brief visit.  Heidi didn't want to ride - she wanted to lead.  So Lewis took advantage of the opportunity and was happy to have his sister take him on an horse riding adventure.

"My do it, Dad"

We also had a visit from a 'prickly-pine'.  Darryn calls them Porcupines, which I hate, they are ECHIDNA's!  So I say Echidna, Darryn says Porcupine then we tell Heidi that it is very prickly - so in all her confusion she settled on 'prickly-pine'.

Heidi and I went to Playschool in Concert - she loved it (so did I)!

We welcomed three unexpected pork roasts to the family.

Po continued her training much to the duck's disgust.

We helped Dad pump water...

...and Mum get the vege garden ready for the winter crop.

And to round it out we enjoyed a few days at Beef 2015, catching up with family and friends.

Photo Shoot - Take 2

So soon you say? After the last debacle - I enlisted some help.  Plus it was a special occasion.

Robyn celebrated her 60th Birthday and to mark the occasion we enjoyed a lovely roast dinner at Princhester.  With all her grandchildren in attendance it provided a great photo opportunity.

Lewis was being such a good boy we actually forgot to include him in this picture!

Unfortunately Brendon was at work and missed the photo shoot.  However, I used my excellent photography skills and was able to photo-shop him into the family picture.  Can't even tell he wasn't in the original shot if you ask me...

These boys were smitten when Heidi entered this world, they are beside themselves at the arrival of Lewis!

The boys have loved watching Heidi grow, encouraging her to roll over, showing her how to crawl, racing with her as she learnt to walk and now as her vocabulary expands they love prompting her to make the noise of a horse or monkey and to say their names.  They teach her how to climb trees and what words like 'fart' mean - I can only imagine the mischief they have in store for Lewis, but we wouldn't have it any other way!  Heidi and Lewis are lucky to have them play such a big part in their lives.  Such a cute bunch with much love to share.

So here's to you Mama on your 60th birthday, five little faces to fill your heart with love.

Happy Birthday xoxo
