Little Workers...

Now that I have a handle on being a mother to 3 under 3, we are starting to venture out of the house again.  The two big kids are delighted to spend any extra moment they can with Dad and Poppa, because apparently staying home with Mum is just the pits!  While I have mastered having three children, Darryn is still gaining his confidence, and will usually only take the big two if Mum and baby come too.  Which suits me fine!  So these two have been wearing out their waddy's on anything that is close enough to poke!  While Lewis will not go within ten feet of a horse, he has no fear of cattle!

The annual preg-test has started so baby Rhys has been getting some practise at 'self-settling' while Mummy is up to her elbows in poo.

Our trips to the yards haven't been all work - Heidi never one to pass up an opportunity to get nude!

In recognition of all this hard yakka the kids have been doing, they have each been allocated their first beast.  Heidi has had to wait 3 years, Rhys not even 3 months!

This was the feeling at branding - I'm not looking forward to sale day!!

Hunting & Gathering

The "yet to be named boat"  had its maiden voyage into the salt water recently. After enjoying beef for almost every meal lately, I told Darryn - don't come home unless you have some fish!  Beginners luck maybe, but most likely due to Darryn's excellent fishing prowess he didn't come home empty handed.

The voyage has been dubbed successful - not sure if that's because of the fish or the fact that they made it out and back with no problems!  Anyhow, whatever the reason, I am so very happy to have fish back on the menu.
